Portobello and Joppa Parish Church is a part of the Church of Scotland in the Presbytery of Edinburgh. You can find us at Brunstane Road North in Joppa, Portobello, about fifteen minutes drive from Edinburgh city centre.
We host more than 30 organisations in our halls and rooms and we also aim to provide a mix of worship styles. There is a short, quiet communion service on Sundays at 9.30am, and then our 11am service is informal but fairly traditional. Family services frequently take place at 11am and four times a year we have innovative communions, following the styles of the emerging churches.
We hope that these different approaches complement each other and show our faith to a diverse community in a variety of forms.
